Forestry Mulching / Cutting

Forestry mulching removes large trees / brush. This is used for general land clearing, trail cutting or maintenance, pre/post disaster mitigation, utility and road right-of-way, cutting firebreaks, clearing food plots, or preparing construction sites.

Mulching / Flail Cutting

Flail mowers can be used to remove difficult brush, saplings, and shred vegetation in hard to reach location like hillsides, ditches, river banks, and shorelines. This mulching process turns trees (up to 4") and brush into wood chips and can be left to compost providing nutrients and bedding. This reduces the cost to the customer as there is no need to for loading and hauling materials.

Brush / Tree Clearing

Great for clearing brush and small trees (up to 3"), or mowing an overgrown field. Also used in clearing trails or preparing construction sites.

The Brushcat 72" High Flow is used, which is compatible with either the CTL (Compact Track Loader) or Toolcat. The Toolcat will not disturb the soil like a CTL would, which is preferred in field scenarios. For brush/tree cutting the CTL is used.

Tree Shearing

Tree shearing up to 16" diameter in a single cut. This model safely drops trees to the left to avoid disturbing other trees. This shear can also articulate to a vertical position to cut the tree into smaller sections which can be hauled away or cut/split into firewood.

Stump Grinding

Stump Grinding vs removing stumps reduces the cost to the customer as there is little to haul away and no need to bring in fill. The wood chips can be repurposed for landscaping/composting needs.
With the use of this Stumper 280 model, this unit can be placed on CTL (Compact Track Loader), Toolcat, or Excavator. The CTL offers the best efficiency and productivity, the Toolcat is the tool of choice for avoiding any lawn damage, and the Excavator allows reaching up or over slopes at hard to reach locations other equipment can not reach. This stump grinder is also a high torque low rpm design, which reduces the flying chips which can harm people animals, vehicles, and buildings.

Grapple Saw

Used for cutting large logs or multiple small logs at the same time. This is ideal for cleaning up felled trees. Whether you request to have us leave the logs on site, or haul them away this is the attachment that we use to cut up logs. This can be run from a Bobcat T770 CTL or Bobcat Toolcat

Excavator Log Splitter

Equipped with either a 2-way or 4-way knife, 30" stroke, this attachment can be used if you determine to have your logs cut and split on site. This attachment will be run from a Bobcat E42 Excavator.

Stump Removal - Excavator Grapple

An excavator is the most efficient method of digging out large stumps. Stump removal is needed if a building or hard surface is planned where the stump is.

Loader Grappling

Once trees, and brush are cut down and need to be disposed of, this skid grapple can be used to move the material to another location, or to load dump trailers or trucks.

Stump Removal - CTL Digger

This tool can be used to rip out small stumps/trees in a single action, or could be used to dig out mid sized stumps; For larger stumps the excavator is a better option. This tool basically a 2 ft. spade shovel with a 10,000lbs loader behind it.
