Logging / Milling
As land clearing projects are completed we end up with a lot of trees; We try our best to properly utilize the wood in the most environment friendly means possible. Once trees are cut into smaller sections, we haul away preferred wood (Red/White Oak, Maple, Elm, Ash, etc.) for milling at a local mill. Remnants are made into wood chips / mulch or cut and split into firewood for retail sales.
Tree Shearing
Tree shearing allows us to cut entire trees down in a single cut. This shear can also articulate to a vertical position to cut the tree into smaller sections which can be hauled away for logging or cut/split into firewood.
Grapple Saw
Used for cutting large logs or multiple small logs at the same time. This is ideal for cleaning up felled trees. Whether you request to have the logs cut on site or haul them away this is the attachment that we use to cut them up. This can be run from a Bobcat T770 CTL or a Toolcat
Log Splitting - Excavator
Equipped with either a 2-way or 4-way knife, 30" stroke, this attachment can be used split large rounds. This attachment is run from an excavator.
