Installing new or repairing existing driveways and lot access / approaches. This project was originally just a small farm path to the road. Trees were removed, and access was widened to 30' and sloped for proper drainage. This project took 96 yards of Class 5 (rock, sand, clay mix)
Lot required a 15" culvert by the Township including tapered ends. Pitch of approach need to be modified
Stripped black, then moved material knocking down initial small hill to build up base further back in the property. Re-topped with top soil.
Road gravel brought in to build up ditch, driveway, and RV parking pad.
Final grading done, ready for seeding
Built up path using recycled asphalt including crowning and compacting.
Also added a few feet of 6" minus rock to control water erosion
Removing up to 2' of black top soil at this location before building up base for driveway. This was phase 2 of a previous project where the tree clearing was done to accommodate a driveway and house.
Class 5 gravel in , top soil graded. This driveway in now complete for now, and construction crews can use it to access the proposed lake home. Once complete the driveway will be covered with a hard surface.
